The Draft Document (Reg. No.1269) suggests that an Ad Hoc Supervisory Panel is set up within The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to deal with the Economic Competition Development and Protection, and that its Membership, Chairman, etc should be approved.
According to the Document, this Panel will supervise the realisation, by Executive Authorities and Local Governments, of the National Competition Development and Protection programmes, as approved by The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine pursuant to Clause 18 of The Business Code of Ukraine.
It also envisages control of fulfilment, by the National Commissions for Regulation of Natural Monopolies, of their tasks set out in Clause 12 of the Law 'On Natural Monopolies', and fulfilment by the specified Executive Authorities, Local Governments, Administrative and Business Management and control bodies, of their functions and duties as set out in Clause 4 of the Law 'On Economic Competition Protection'.
